Individuals or organizations who would like to re-share property-level data from the NHPD in an interactive map or tool must sign a data license.
As part of our dedication to the preservation of affordable housing, we offer organizations limited data licenses at no cost if they serve a mission-driven purpose, do not sell access to a tool with property-level NHPD data, and do not allow property-level NHPD data to be downloadable from their website.
Organizations that would like to sell access to a tool with property-level NHPD data can purchase a data resale license. The cost of the resale license will depend on which fields are requested and whether property-level NHPD data will be downloadable in the tool.

Data licenses are not needed to:
- Aggregate data from the NHPD by region for a report.
- Share an individual property record with a family member, friend, legal aid client, or judge.
- Create a static map of properties in a report or funding application.
- Identify affordable housing properties to do targeted outreach.
